One of the lesser known options within Explorer is a feature called “Manage Add-ons” under the Tools menu. This utility allows you to see what add-ons are currently running with your browser and gives you the opportunity to disable them. This is a very convenient feature particularly if you are seeing strange and unwanted pop-ups, buttons or search fields when browsing. Disabling these items helps speed up your browser.
